Beachcomber celebrates 60 years of exceptional service

It’s Beachcomber Hotels’ 60th birthday next year and we are celebrating this by offering 60% off! Beachcomber Hotels were the pioneers of the hotel industry in Mauritius opening the first hotel way back in 1952 so we certainly come with some pedigree. We’ve not stood still; since then Beachcomber have grown and we now have 8 hotels in Mauritius and the Sainte Anne Resort & Spa in the Seychelles.

Couples travelling to the Beachcomber hotels in Mauritius and the Seychelles between 01 May and 31 July 2012 can join us in our celebrations by receiving 60%* off the half board accommodation costs for the second person. We’ve extended this offer to 30 November 2012 at Royal Palm, Dinarobin, Paradis and Trou aux Biches.

1971 – Opening of Trou aux Biches (northern region)

1972 – Opening of Dinarobin Pierre Desmarais Hotel (south west region)

1985 – Opening of Royal Palm (Grand Baie)

1991 – Opening of Shandrani (replacing Le Charland – south east region)

1992 – Beachcomber buys Le Mauricia (Grand Baie)

1994 – Beachcomber buys Le Victoria (northern region)

1996 – Opening of Paradis Hotel & Golf Club (replacing Le Brabant and Dinarobin Pierre Desmarais – south west region)

1997 – Beachcomber buys Le Canonnier (northern region)

2001 – Opening of Dinarobin Hotel Golf & Spa (south west region)

2002 – Re-opening of Paradis Hotel & Golf Club

2002 – Opening of Sainte Anne Resort & Spa (Seychelles)

2011 – Re-opening of Trou Aux Biches Resort & Spa following 2 years of construction
