Staying at either Paradis Hotel & Golf Club or Dinarobin Hotel Golf & Spa gives you the chance to play on three courses which each offer their own unique charm and challenges.

Paradis Golf Course

Designed by David Dutton - 18-hole 5899 metre par 72 course. Set along the spectacular Le Morne peninsula with Le Morne Mountain towering over you. On 5 of the holes you'll in fact have to hit over the Indian Ocean! Daily golf for guests of Paradis and Dinarobin approximately €20.

Golf Du Chateau

Designed by Peter Matkovitch - 18-hole 6498 metre par 72 course. Just 20 minutes drive south of Paradis, Golf du Chateau is beautifully manicured with great views over the Indian Ocean on the front nine. Paradis and Dinarobin guests enjoy privileged access and discount rates here. 18-holes approximately £45. Golf Cart approximately £30.

Tamarina Golf Course

Designed by Rodney Wright - 18-hole 6780 metre par 72 course. Just 20 minutes drive north of Paradis. Tamarina is the youngest of the courses set on the Tamarina Estate. Paradis and Dinarobin guests enjoy privileged access and discount rates here. 18-holes approximately £45. Golf Cart approximately £30.

If you are a keen golfer and are staying at Paradis or Dinarobin it is certainly worth considering our 5-day golf package which gives you a few extras that you may not normally treat yourself to on a Mauritius golf holiday.

Golf at Shandrani Resort & Spa

Paradis and Dinarobin are certainly the pick of our resorts for a Mauritius golf holiday but we must not forget about the great little 9-hole pitch and putt course at Shandrani. The course is set within the gardens just a stones throw away from the beach and is a great addition to the excellent facilities offered by Shandrani. Although not one for the purists it's a fun challenge and will certainly test your short game.

British Airways

Extra charge. When you fly with British Airways, golf bags form part of your luggage allowance. If a golf bag is an addition to your luggage allowance, a fee of £40 per sector will apply. Emirates (Via Dubai)

No extra charge. One set of golf clubs and one pair of golf shoes may be carried free of charge by passengers in any class of service on any Emirates flight. Please check the details on the Emirates Airline site for the most up-to-date information.

Diving in Mauritius

If you are a very keen diver you'll have gathered from your research that diving in Mauritius may not be in the same league as the Egyptian Red Sea, Australia's Great Barrier Reef or diving around Polynesia but does offer great diving with the added benefit of luxurious resorts on dry land.

Diving in Mauritius is year round although the best months are November through to March when the water temperature is warmer and visibility is at its best. It is also worth remembering that the west coast is generally warmer in the water and on dry land than the east coast. Water temperatures vary through the year between 22C to 28C. All of our Mauritius hotels offer excellent PADI dive centres.

Snorkelling in Mauritius

With warm, safe waters Mauritius offers good opportunities for snorkelling. Whilst all of the Beachcomber hotels in Mauritius offer free snorkelling trips for guests, we still do recommend you take your own equipment. For the best snorkelling spots have a chat with the dive team as they will be able to give you an insiders guide to the best spots.
