Mauritius is fortunate to have an excellent number of flights and a choice of airlines flying directly into the destination. There is also a good choice of connections with the Seychelles which enables us to tailor-make some superb two centre holidays.
We offer flights directly to Mauritius from the UK with Air Mauritius, British Airways and Virgin Atlantic whilst our flights with Emirates are via Dubai.
The flying time is approximately 12 hours with overnight outbound flights. Although this is definitely a longhaul flight the small time difference between the UK and Mauritius (3 hours in our summer and 4 in winter) means that jet lag is rarely a problem.

All Air Mauritius flights from Heathrow are overnight flights, return flights on Weds/Sat are day flights and Thurs/Sat there are overnight flights.
Air Mauritius offers the following cabins: Economy and Business Class - The new Business Class seats offer a maximum seat width of 20 inches, as well as angled flat beds measuring 25 inches wide and 75 inches long. The Business Class cabin will see its seats arranged in a 2-2-2 configuration and will be fitted with 10.4-inch arm-mounted LCD monitors, among other facilities.

Baggage allowance in Economy Class is one bag of up to 23kgs, there is a small charge at the airport for all additional bags including sporting equipment. You'll get a small discount off this extra baggage charge through the 'Manage Your Booking' link below which can be accessed 24 hours prior to departure.
British Airways offers the following cabins: Economy, World Traveller Plus, Club and a limited First Class cabin. British Airways now offers paid seating which can be requested once ticketed.

Virgin flies from London Heathrow as follows:

Mauritius to London Heathrow - Mon | Sat
Virgin Atlantic has a seasonal schedule to Mauritius. For the 2009 / 2010 season the flights operate 13 November 2009 to 24 April 2010. Virgin will not be flying to Mauritius after 24 April 2010.
All Virgin flights from Heathrow are overnight flights, return flights are all day flights.
Virgin offers the following cabins: Economy, Premium Economy and Upper Class.
Emirates flights to Mauritius - Via Dubai
Emirates flies daily from London Heathrow, Gatwick, Manchester, Birmingham, Newcastle and Glasgow to Dubai. From Dubai there are regular weekly flights to Mauritius.
