Having our own dedicated African office based in the Cape, South Africa, is a big plus. It not only gives guests a convenient point of contact in Africa, but it gives Beachcomber the local advantage. Our roots in Africa have given us in-depth knowledge and understanding of this remarkable continent, built on years of personal experience spent travelling in its amazing (and sometimes remote) areas.
You'll find that many of the properties we choose in Africa are unique ‘one-offs'. They are owner-run and managed wherever possible, giving you an inviting home-from-home experience. Additionally many of the camps and lodges we feature are located in private concessions - these exclusive areas have a friendly, intimate atmosphere and guest numbers are kept to a minimum. But whether you're looking for city chic, wild safari, or something in between, very few can compete with our passion and know-how in Africa.
