Certificates of vaccination are not necessary for South Africa and Botswana, except for yellow fever, if arriving from an infected area. Malaria is prevalent in certain parts of South Africa (Mpumalanga and northern Kwazulu-Natal) and Namibia and it is imperative that all visitors to these areas take anti-malaria tablets.
