Two centre holidays
Beachcomber has a proud history of excellent Tailor Made itineraries. All our knowledgeable staff have visited, and often lived in the destinations we offer. Your needs and requirements are very individual, and we will be happy to create an itinerary specifically for you. Below are just some of the more popular itineraries to give you an idea these can all be changed and personalised to suit you needs.
Mauritius & South Africa Holiday
The combination of Mauritius and South Africa is traditionally our most popular two-centre holiday and the diverse choice in South Africa ensures we have something suitable for couples, honeymooners and family holidays alike.
There's everything from the classic Bush & Beach - a simple combination of 3 or 4 nights on safari followed by a week or so on the beach in Mauritius - to a more in depth journey through South Africa taking in a safari, Cape Town, a luxury train and then on to Mauritius. Botswana, Namibia and Victoria Falls can be added in to the mix too!
Luxury Bush and Beach
Day 1 – Arrive in Johannesburg, then fly by light aircraft into the Sabi Sands Private Game Reserve for three nights at Leopard Hills. Enjoy fantastic game viewing, including the ‘Big 5’, on exciting game drives and walks.
Day 4 – Light aircraft flight to Johannesburg for your overnight stay at the Airport Southern Sun.
Day 5 – Fly to Mauritius and transfer to the Dinarobin Hotel Golf & Spa for nine nights.
Relax in the luxurious all-suite accommodation and take advantage of a choice of seven restaurants and numerous land and water sports in one of the island’s most stunning settings.
Day 14 – Private transfer back to Mauritius airport for your flight home.
South African Explorer and Mauritian Luxury
Day 1 – Arrive in Cape Town, collect your hire car and drive to Four Rosmead for four nights accommodation, spending your days exploring the delights of Cape Town.
Day 5 – Set off for your leisurely drive through to Franschhoek to spend two nights at Klein Genot. Discover charming Franschhoek town and sample excellent regional cuisine and wines.
Day 7 – Short drive to Cape Town before flying to Johannesburg to take a light aircraft flight into Sabi Sands, for three nights stay at Savanna Private Game Reserve. Enjoy exciting safari at its best.
Day 10 – Light aircraft back to Johannesburg for your flight to Mauritius.
Spend 6 nights soaking up the sun at the fully all inclusive Shandrani Resort & Spa where you can indulge and enjoy unrivalled Mauritian hospitality and cuisine.
Day 16 – Transfer to Mauritius Airport for your flight home.
Untamed Botswana, Breathtaking Victoria Falls and beautiful Mauritius
Day 1– Arrive in Johannesburg and fly to Maun from there you will take a light aircraft to Xigera Camp which is a waterland paradise situated in the heart of the Delta in the Moremi Game Reserve where you will spend two nights enjoying unique activities including Mokoro trips (traditional wooden boats with punts).
Day 3 – From here you will take a light aircraft to Duma Tau and spend 2 nights in the Linyanti Reserve. The camp overlooks a vast hippo filled-lagoon and one of the many highlights is a chance to watch huge herds of Elephants, especially in the dry winter season!
Day 5 – Light aircraft Kasani and spend the day at leisure taking in one of the seven natural wonders of the world at Victoria Falls. Transfer by road to The River Club and spend 2 nights soaking the romantic charm of this hotel on the banks of the Zambezi.
Day 7 – Fly from Livingstone to Johannesburg and spend 1 night at the Intercontinental.
Day 8 – Fly from Johannesburg to Mauritius. Spend 7 nights at Dinarobin Hotel Golf & Spa where you can enjoy an all-suite experience with a world-class spa. Relax on the beach, play a round of golf and sample some fantastic cuisine before flying non-stop back to the UK!
Dubai and South Africa
This is an two-centre that is increasing in popularity all the time due to fantastic flight connections. You could spend a few nights in the bush sampling some of the best game viewing in the world before heading back to the bright lights of Cape Town then on to Dubai to relax on the beach!
Cape Town and Middle East Wonders
Day 1 – Arrive in Cape Town to collect your hire car, and drive to the Cape Grace Hotel for four nights accommodation. This hotel is located right in the heart of the famous Victoria & Alfred Waterfront, with its fantastic restaurants and vibrant atmosphere.
Day 5 – Fly overnight from Cape Town to Dubai and transfer to Six Senses Hideaway at Zighy Bay. Spend 4 nights in this tranquil hideaway. In a dramatic setting between the Hajar Mountains and the sweeping beach of Zighy Bay, this all-villa accommodation offers guests the option of complete privacy, relaxation and indulgence.
Day 10 – Flight from Dubai back home.
The Garden Route, City Life and a Tranquil Hideaway
Day 1 – Arrive in Johannesburg and take a connecting flight to George in the Heart of the Garden Route. Collect your car and take the short drive to Plettenburg Bay where you will spend 2 nights at The Plettenburg, a prestigious property with breathtaking views of the Ocean. For your honeymoon we would suggest upgrading to a sea view as the panoramic ocean views will be a great start to your honeymoon!
Day 3 – Take a leisurely drive to Outshoorn where you will stay at Altes Landhaus, a typical Cape Dutch style property cradled in the lush Schoemanshoek valley. This is a great base to explore the area – visit one of the many Ostrich farms and a must is the Cango Caves or just relax by the pool and take in the stunning views.
Day 5 – Drive to Swellendam for 1 night at Mardouw House. The small boutique hotel is perfect for honeymooners wanting individual service and attention.
Day 6 – Take the short drive to Cape Town and spend 2 nights at the Cape Grace Hotel , a favourites with honeymooners. Its superb waterfront location, charming interiors and informal yet attentive service ensure this is a great choice for your honeymoon. Sample some of the restaurants and bars in the V&A waterfront, take the cable car to the top of Table Mountain or take a drive through some of Cape Town’s pretty suburbs.
Day 7 – Drive to Cape Town airport, drop off your car and catch your flight to Dubai.
Day 8 - Arrive into Dubai early morning and transfer by road to Six Senses Hideaway at Zighy Bay, located in the Musandam peninsula in the Sultanate of Oman, for 6 nights. The route to Zighy Bay takes you over a spectacular mountain road before swooping down into the resort. For an added experience you could even choose to paraglide down to the resort! The all-villa accommodation allows you to literally hide away in complete seclusion, with a 24-hour personal butler and your own infinity-edged pool.
Day 14 – Return to Dubai for your flight back to the UK.
Africa & Seychelles
The combination of a safari in Southern Africa or Kenya with time spent relaxing on the islands of the Seychelles is one our finest two centre options. Although we may have to play around with your dates, as flights are not that common between Africa and the Seychelles, you will be more than rewarded with a holiday of a lifetime.
Big ‘5’ and Secluded Seychelles
Days 1 – Arrive in Johannesburg, then fly by light aircraft into Sabi Sands, for three nights stay at Ulusaba Safari Lodge where you will enjoy some of the best game viewing in the world.
Day 4 – Light aircraft flight to Johannesburg and fly to Mahe in the Seychelles and transfer by car and boat to Beachcombers private island of Sainte Anne. Relax and spend ten nights in this luxurious all-villa accommodation and enjoy a choice of restaurants, a spa and numerous activities or just lie on the beach and enjoy the spectacular scenery.
Day 14 – Transfer back to Mahe airport for your flight home.

Kenyan Safari and the Best Beach on Mauritius
Day 1 - Arrive into Nairobi and transfer to the beautiful Masai Mara where you will spend 3 nights soaking up all that this stunning reserve has to offer. From fantastic lodges to some of the best game viewing that can be found - this is a great way to start your holiday.
Day 4 - Return back to Nairobi where you will spend 1 night at the Nairobi Serena.
Day 5 - Transfer to Nairobi airport to connect with your flight to Mauritius. You will arrive into Mauritius early evening where you will take a shared transfer to the north of the island. Arrive at Trou Aux Biches and enjoy the natural beauty of the most stunning beach on the island of Mauritius. As an added bonus you will receive FREE two-course lunches for the duration of your stay!
Day 12 - Return to Mauritius airport for your flight home.
