Dinarobin - looking better than ever
Following its refurbishment last year the Dinarobin is looking better than ever and is getting rave reviews, a quick reminder of the changes:-
The renovations focused on all major public areas and restaurants, including work on the following:
- Mahogany Bar, now more welcoming with comfy sofas and a relaxed contemporary atmosphere
- Saveurs des Iles Restaurant has been opened up and offers more outdoor tables for dining under the stars
- The Club at Dinarobin has been extended and now boasts a beautiful new terrace area. Don't forget your clients can upgrade to a Club Suite for just £10 a night per person. If you've got clients looking for a luxury holiday the whole Club concept we believe can't be beaten in Mauritius.
- A new Tuscan Restaurant, Il Gusto, has been added - Dinarobin and Paradis guests now have a choice of 8 restaurants!
- 5 new swimming (heated) pools have been added to the gardens offering even more space to relax. Feedback from guests on the new pools has been fantastic.
Trou Aux Biches – the best beach in Mauritius gets a brand new hotel
We are nearly there, only 7 more months to go before the new Trou Aux Biches opens its doors to guests. There are a few final details yet to be confirmed, but highlights of the new resort are:
- The hotel will be an all suite property with 29 beautiful family villas on the grounds of the old golf course.
- The Villas are either 2 or 3 bedroom villas, each with their own private plunge pool and butler service mid-morning to mid-afternoon).
- The Beachfront Suites will all have their own private plunge pools.
- There'll be a choice of 6 restaurants
- A Clarins Spa
- A Bob Marlin Kids Club for 3 to 12 year olds and a teenagers club, the first dedicated teenagers club for Beachcomber Hotels. ( Le Victoria currently runs a teenagers programme in busy school holiday periods but this will be a dedicated Teens Club with its own club house)
- 6 garden pools will set within the grounds between the suites
- A 'chapel' built into the branches of a banyan tree will offer wedding couples something a little different.
Have a look at the Trou Aux Biches hotel pages for the latest accommodation details and hotel images. (In the accommodation section click on the suite images as a few of the suites have their own mini-galleries)
Le Victoria - new room names and room occupancy changes
For arrivals from 01 November 2010 Le Victoria is changing it's room names and occupancy levels as follows:
Superior Room First Floor - these will be the lead-in room category and as the name suggests are located on the first floor of the hotel. Room occupancy 2 adults and one teenager/child
under 18.
Superior Room Ground Floor - as the name suggests are all located on the ground floor, room occupancy 2 adults and 2 teenagers/children under 18. The ground floor Superior Rooms are always in demand and are always on request as they give guests direct access to the gardens and the beach, hence the hotel has put a small premium on these rooms from 01 November.
Deluxe Rooms - Remain as they are on the top floor of the hotel room occupancy will change to 2 adults and two teenagers/children under 18.
