Our brand new Beachcomber brochure for 2010 – 2011 has arrived. It’s filled with all the essential information on our eight hotels in Mauritius and the Sainte Anne Resort & Spa in the Seychelles.

We’ve added more information on the stunning new Trou aux Biches which is set for its soft re-opening in November 2010. There are now dedicated sections on All-Inclusive, Half-Board Plus and the Club at Dinarobin.

Our new brochure also has detailed wedding information including our wedding packages which start from just £415. You’ll also find information on honeymoons, sports activities, family holidays and the usual resort plans of each hotel.

A day at the races – Mauritius

If you can drag yourself away from the beautiful beaches of our resorts in Mauritius and you fancy something different, then a day at the races is for you. The Champ de Mars racecourse is home to the Mauritius Turf Club which was founded in 1812, making it the oldest horse-racing club in the southern hemisphere and one of the oldest in the world.

Crown Lodge is a private steward suite converted to allow tourists to have an unobstructed view of the finish line and ‘the paddock’. The lodge is located on the VIP balcony next to the Mauritius Turf Club president’s lodge.

The CLA Game Fair – 2010

Once again our ‘beach’ at the Game Fair at Ragley Hall attracted many visitors. Whilst the children built sand castles and the dogs took a much needed break from the hot sun, we chatted to their parents about Mauritius and Seychelles. As usual it was great to see our repeat customers especially those that have recently been married on the island.

If you missed us this year, we’ll be at next year’s CLA Game Fair at Blenheim Palace 22 – 24 July 2011.

With Trou aux Biches set to open in November 2010, one of its most prized assets will be the 2kms of white sandy beach. It’s along this beach where you’ll find the Beachfront Suites. There will be 44 Beachfront Suites and 22 Beachfront Senior Suites, each one having its own plunge pool. With the opening of the new Trou aux Biches not too far away (November 2010), this fabulous resort will cater extremely well for families. The accommodation will feature spacious Family Suites with 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms with a private terrace or balcony.

Then there are the 2 and 3 bedroom Family Villas surrounded by a private garden; each having a private plunge pool, barbecue area and butler service. These make the villas perfect for families who want to relax and enjoy in private.

Trou aux Biches will feature six restaurants giving families a greater choice of dining.
