How long is the flight to Abu Dhabi, Dubai and Oman?
The flying time between 6 and 8 hours on direct flights from the UK. Guests have the added bonus of choosing the time they would like to fly. There are various departure times on both the outbound and the inbound.
What about jetlag?
You will not suffer any jet lag as all destinations are 4 hours ahead of the UK in our winter, 3 in our summer months and with the overnight flights jetlag is rarely a problem.
Can we pre-book seats?
Seats can be pre-booked on most airlines. Seats with British Airways can be pre-booked online 72 hours before your departure.
Are there any inoculations required for the Middle East?
There are no inoculations required for travel to the Middle East. There is also no Maleria.
Do you provide child seats on transfers?
Oman - we can offer a child seat for those under 5 years. The seats provided are booster seats suitable for a maximum age of 2-4 years. This isn't something that is enforced by the government so if this is something you require please make this clear upon booking.
Dubai - unfortunately we cannot arrange child seats here.
Abu Dhabi - unfortunately we cannot arrange child seats here.
Can you guarantee interconnecting rooms?
Interconnecting rooms unfortunately can not be guaranteed. At time of booking our reservations agents will place a request with the hotel, rooms are allocated by the hotel to guests on arrival at the resort and where possible your request will be met.
Do you provide cots?
Cots can be provided at all of the hotels.
Do you provide high chairs in the restaurants?
Yes most of the restaurants in the Middle East provide high chairs – if worried our reservations agents will be pleased to check for you.
Will the restaurants puree infants food?
Yes most of the restaurants will puree infants food - please let our reservations team know if you would like them to check it for you.
Should I take baby formula with me?
Although you can buy baby formula in the Middle East, we recommend you take your own.
Should we take nappies with us?
Take as many as you can in your luggage, additional supplies can be purchased in resort. Swimming nappies are also a good idea to take with you.
Are the children's clubs free?
Most hotels offer free children's clubs which are open to 3 to 12 year olds, some have an additional charge.
Can younger children attend the clubs?
Children under 3 can attend the clubs but they must be accompanied by an adult or baby sitter.
How much does a baby sitter cost?
Baby sitters start from £4 per hour. Baby sitters are booked through reception - 24 hours notice is required. Depending on hours worked the baby sitters transport may need to be paid for by guests. Prices may vary dependent on resort and may increase after midnight.
Is it worth us taking snorkeling equipment with us?
If you are keen snorkelers then yes it is worth taking your own equipment with you.
Do the restaurants have children's meals?
Most restaurants offer kids menus. Please feel free to ask our reservations agents to check this for you at time of booking.
Do you have any all inclusive hotels in Middle East?
Due to the wide variety of restaurants on offer there are no hotels that offer all-inclusive options. The majority of hotels are on a bed and breakfast basis but do have half board supplements although we would suggest taking bed and breakfast as due to the vast choice of restaurants, cafes and bars you may feel restricted if you choose the half board option.
