One of the real benefits of staying at the Royal Palm is that the fantastic cuisine is offered on a half-board á la carte basis allowing you the freedom to enjoy some of the islands finest cuisine (although some specialties will still be at a supplement). The superb kitchens are overseen by head chef Michel de Matteis, who is a winner of numerous awards and was previously employed at several Michelin-starred restaurants across France. A bed and breakfast option is also available for guests.

Dress Code: Elegant, smart casual clothing is required for dining in the evenings.

La Goelette

La Goelette is the hotels main restaurant with panoramic views across the bay, serving breakfast and gourmet creole and international cuisine.

Open between 0730 - 1030 and 1930 to 2230. Seats 80.

Le Bar Plage

The perfect beachfront setting for lunch. All of the the tables are set on wooden decking under the shade of a huge Badamier tree. The delicious menu includes light snacks and a selection of chef's salads made using local produce.

Open for lunch between 1230 to 1700. Seats 70.

Bar open 1000 to 1700.

Natureaty Restaurant

The intimate Natureaty Restaurant is located in a stunning spot at the ocean's edge. Everything about the restaurant is open plan, from the kitchen itself to two fabulous terraces for dining under the stars. It's cuisine is focused on exploring the world's cuisine and ingredients.  One of the dishes served will include a healthy option with reduced calorie count.

Open between 1930 - 2200. Closed Sundays. Seats 35.

Private Dining - Guests may also enjoy the informal elegance of private dining on their balcony or terrace. Nothing could be more enjoyable than a leisurely breakfast or romantic dinner at a table laid exclusively for you and served by a personal waiter. For small family parties there's also the option of dining at the Captain's Table.

Royal Palm Spa

The beautiful spa at the Royal Palm is acknowledged as one of the finest on Mauritius and is set within the gardens. Tranquil indoor and outdoor spaces are centred around a main pool with dedicated cabins for Reiki, Thai massage and Ayurvedic treatments. The spa offers a range of Clarins beauty treatments. Royal Palm Children's Club

All Beachcomber hotels have a free Bob Marlin Mini Club which welcomes children aged 3 - 12 years 7 days a week. The Royal Palm Children's Club is open from 0900 to 2300 daily.

The clubs are run by qualified professionals who provide fun, but also educational, indoor and outdoor activities to keep your little ones entertained and happy.

Every day there is a set activities programme which you can dip in and out of, if you also want to spend some family time together during the day.

Children and infants under 3 can attend the Club but must be accompanied by an adult or baby sitter.
